To understand the thermodynamic characteristics of reaction between Al and SiO2 during continuous casting process high-aluminum steel, activity coefficients MnO in molten slags (18–43%) CaO-(33–64%) SiO2-(9–21%) Al2O3-(2–3%) MgO-(<2.4%) were measured at 1400°C, 1450°C 1500°C by experiments Si Mn equilibrium liquid copper slag graphite crucible under mixed gas atmosphere CO Ar. The effects SiO2, Al2O3, basicity, radio CaO/Al2O3 temperature on discussed. quadratic regression relationships among coefficient or MnO, concentration component, basicity investigated analysis method.
